In a world where daily life revolves around a screen and a finger, KADAWA gives their audience an ‘offline’ experience worth lifting their heads for.
Rooted in powerful grooves, distinct moods and adventurous improvisations, the guitar-bass-drums trio creates flexible original compositions which serve a unique, song-like storyline. Their music confronts major existential issues including global warming, the increasing cost of living and the failing U.S. Health Care System, alongside the simple pleasures of life, such as movies they love to hate, emotional moving days and bizarre NYC experiences.
“The sound is about joy and force in equal measure, full of hummable melodies and moments of proud combustion.”
– Giovanni Russonello, ‘The New York Times’
